UK support announced; This Is For Real information
Motion City Soundtrack has announced on their UK/Europe site that the support for the UK tour in the fall will be Straylight Run. One more support act will be announced in the coming weeks as well. One other note—The concert at the Glasgow Garage on September 29th has been moved to the ABC and tickets originally bought for the Garage will still be honored. Tickets can be purchased through gigsinscotland.com.

The band also posted some information about a "This Is For Real" single. Epitaph will release the song on September 3rd digitally and on CD and limited edition colored 7inch vinyl (two versions - gatefold and a second sleeve that fits with gatefold). Each format will feature separate exclusive B-sides (note: this information is just for UK fans).

Broken Heart (Limited Edition) single; Pictures from Tempe
Next week a special limited edition Broken Heart single will be released in Japan on July 18th. The single will have 5 songs and 3 music videos. The tracklisting (from Sony Music Japan's website) is:

1. Fell In Love Without You
2. Broken Heart
3. The Worst Part
4. The Future Freaks Me Out (Live)
5. L.G. FUAD (Live)

CD Extra music videos:
1. My Favorite Accident
2. Everything Is Alright
3. Hold Me Down

You can hear a 40 second clip of "Fell In Love Without You" at the Sony Music Japan page for the single (click the graphic to the left of the first track). If you want a Real Player Version the single's page in the Sony Music Shop has one.

If you live in the US and want to order the CD both Amazon.com and CDUniverse.com are carrying it as an import (and you can pre-order it). Beware that this is a limited edition single and the Sony Music Japan site says that it will only be produced for two months. If you want to order it I would order it soon.

In other news, Michael sent in some pictures from the Tempe, AZ show on Thursday. There is an awesome pic of Jesse's moogstand. Check them out in the gallery!
